Will Veneers Make Your Teeth Sensitive?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Given that getting your veneers will require you to remove a tiny amount of enamel, you might wonder whether they could make your teeth sensitive. Thankfully, you\u2019ll have your brand-new veneers to protect your teeth\u2014they\u2019ll take the place of your previous enamel, ensuring that you can continue to be comfortable despite having lost some of your tooth\u2019s protection.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It may take a little bit of time for your teeth to adjust to the new state of things; initially after getting your veneers you might find that your smile is a little bit sensitive. This should fade within a few days after getting your dental work done.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What if I Lose my Veneers?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Of course, this is only the case if your veneers stick around to protect your teeth. Should they fall off, the interior of your tooth will be exposed and will cause you discomfort when you eat. Moreover, this enamel isn\u2019t going to grow back.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If you want your teeth to be protected, you\u2019ll need to replace any veneers that you lose as quickly as possible. This is even more of a reason to ensure that you keep your dental work in good condition, and that you are diligent with your dental hygiene.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
