Jennifer Stern is a compassionate, enthusiastic, and motivated person. She
enjoys practicing the art of dentistry and helping to educate patients. Dr.
Stern's goal is to give each patient the confidence to smile and to help
relieve any dental anxiety. She strives to make each visit a comfortable and
pleasant experience while providing excellent care.
Dr. Stern is a 2002 graduate of the University of Saint Thomas with a BA in
Liberal Arts and a 2006 graduate of the University of Texas Dental Branch at
Houston. After being in private practice for one year, Dr. Stern decided to
do further training at the Ohio State University College of Dentistry. She
completed a one year General Practice Residency where she learned to manage
patients with more complex medical histories and how to treat more difficult
cases (with an emphasis on implant restorations and cosmetic dentistry).
Upon graduating from residency, she worked with special-needs patients and
instructed dental students on their care. Dr. Stern has also worked
extensively with children, and her main focus now is family practice
dentistry. Through continuing education, she stays current with the latest
technology so she can provide the best care to each patient.
Dr. Stern lives in Powell with her husband Brian and her two children. Dr.
Stern's husband is an oral surgeon in the Lewis Center area, and her sons
Jacob and Andrew are 2.5 and 1.5 years of age. She enjoys ballroom dancing,
volleyball, and reading in her spare time when she is not spending time with
her family.
